Hello, Thanks for having me. I was a a long time Olds mechanic when I was young. I know this may or may not be the correct place to post this but here goes. Move it if nec. sorry in advance. I have a 5.7 diesel engine complete sitting on an engine stand in the 60034 zip code. This is probably a very fresh engine because of the story that came with it. So I'm not really trying to sell anything, I'm kind of asking if I should just scrap it? or Is there still interest in these blocks?

 

There's still interest in these engines/blocks. People like them because the blocks are beefier than gas small blocks. If you want to sell it, list it on the Oldsmobile parts classified forum on this site.

Now that the thing is moved here I'm sure the next rule is to post a price if your going to post. So I'm going to offer this up. But I have no idea what its worth. I'm a Land Rover Jaguar guy. You guys know who needs what and who's near me in Northern Illinois. Send them my way.Scrap value is my price. Thats what $125 maybe?
