local junk yard has some hidden olds

local junk yard has some hidden olds

So i stumbled across a local salvage yard near me that has a specific section in their yard dedicated to older cars, The gentleman i spoke with said they don't usually scrap the older cars the leave them untill they are totally stripped .. and they have some good olds parts, they have a 65 f85 4 door Im gonna go check out tomorrow. I know alot of members are scattered all over the world, but In new england there are absolutley no f85 lying around so im sure other members are having the same problem i am finding the little stuff. I attatched a link to their website and they are only 15 minutes from me so If i can be of any help just let me know I have gotten alot of help from the people on this site and I'm just trying to return the favor if i can

I also noticed on the website all the photo dates say 2007 but they guy I talked to said not to pay attention to the dates they still had alot of the cars on the website and some not posted yet, I guess their IT guy is on vacation

I use to go to Jack's in Bristol, RI many moons ago and they let you roam around and pull your own parts.

North Smithfield has some good stuff. I've gone there in search of Omega parts before and never leave empty handed. The only problem is they charge $5 to get in

I actually need to get back down there to grab stuff from a Delta 88 they got in a couple months back.

Jacks in Bristol is still there and he's a big Oldsmobile fan, he owns several. I'm not sure he'll let you roam around any more but it's worth a try. Right on Metacom Ave. in Bristol.

I need a front bench seat for my 64. Looks like that 65 has one.

Someone in NC offered me one for free but freight is going to kill me.

Im going to have to call them.
