intake again (with picture this time)

intake again (with picture this time)

this is the intake i was talking about a month ago

three of the carbs are holly, one says ford. (i dont know why one is different)

intake is alum and believed to be for a 55 olds but i could be wrong.

"no numbers are available" i looked everywhere!

i have more pics but its a pain to send...easier to email if someone is interested. this site only allows certail size files ect...

All are Holley 94s. Holley was Fords main carb supplier from the beginning.

"Ink marker" in the center (upside down) shows 324 and 54-56. 324 = 324CI Olds engine.

Ports should be rectangular, if so, it's for '54 and '55, but will work on '56. I say "will work" because the '56 heads used slightly larger ports.

Try posting at the H.A.M.B. There are people over there, that actually know about this stuff.

Holy Crap - That looks like an ultra RARE Cragar intake...well, with the Cragar logo ground down

I might have to take that back - This also looks like an extremely RARE Horne intake. They also made finned aluminum valve covers for the early rocket blocks. Its a company not too many people know about

Thank you for the picture - What are the chances you have a picture of the Cragar intake?? If anyone would have one, my money is on 88coupe

In looking closely at the Horne and Cragar intakes, I would have to say that is a Cragar intake you have. Even though the 2 look the same, check out the outside rail about 4 inches between the front and rear carburators and it has a distinctive inwards curvature, whereas the Horne intake does not. Thanks again for the pics 88coupe.. Whoever said you were an irritant here?
