Early Hurst T-handles removed from cars in the 1970's and 80's. Two are coarse threads and one is fine threads.
The fine thread handle came with a velvet like cover which most has worn off. $35.00/each includes shipping to
the lower 48.
That frocked t-handle was an option on a 70 Pontiac GTO (maybe others?). My friend is the original owner of a 70' Ram Air 4, 4 speed GTO and his came with that exact handle.
I bought one of those velvet handles for my Dual Gate back in the 80s so it wouldn't burn my hand during the heat of summer. The velvet eventually wore off in spots, so I peeled it all off, polished the aluminum, and it looked just like a non-velvet handle. Nearly 40 years later and it's still on my car.
I thought I remembered seeing those in the auto parts stores years ago.
I believe any of these 3 T-handles can be bead blasted and look new.
Thanks for the info. John
