Holley 6497 Spreadbore Carb

I ran this on my car until I put a Q-jet on. It ran really rich. The choke is missing. Consider it to be for parts. $25 + shipping

Holley 6497 Spreadbore Carb

I would like it for parts. I tried to reply to u on the ROP pm, but I guess as you said it's too full and dropping you messages. Not sure I want to post my email here, because I have been pretty good at keeping it spam free. PM me. I am not clear on how I can do a paypal payment to you without a listing.

Steve

I sent you a PM back here on CO with the shipping price. Did you get it?

I did get the message. It actually looks a little like an 800 to me in the pic. Have not looked up the list number yet. I see the reverse idle block. I must be honest i am wavering a little on the shipping cost. I still may take it though. Overall I can use the parts.

The Holley 6497 is what they replaced Q-jets with. It's a 650.

Feel free to check shipping yourself. I'll ship it any way you want.

12"x9"x6" and 14 lbs from 13148. I think I figured USPS because it's easiest for me.

thx. You seem like you have good character. I have my own business that's the reason for my slow response. I will get back soon.

I looked up the list number and it is a 650. I do have an 800 spreadbore though. It was a big pig and needed Dominator size jets in the back.

Sorry for any trouble or time I have caused you, however I just bought a Carb from ebay that I have been trying to get for a while. Its a 3916 950 Three barrel Holley. It was only the main body and base so I have to spend my money and time to find a donor block and bowls for this carb. I already have plenty of spreadbore parts, I just thought you have a good deal on your old one. I already have a recipe for modifying the 3 barrel and the guy who gave it to me gave me a recipe for another carb of mine and it turned it into a screaming barn burner. Thanks Steve
