Olds parts

What are you asking for just the rods?
The site moderator will tell you to list a price for items.

Thanks

young olds, yes you need to have a price listed in your parts for sale thread, one of the site rules.

On a different note, have you seen the guy with all the 215 stuff for sale in Portland? Here's a Craigslist ad of his: https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/...986709634.html

I know, but what I do not know is current going rates for these parts. I have had the crank for about 7 years and if I recall back then they were $700-$1000. I want to say the rods were somewhere around $600-$700. And I just bought the caps last year for $365. I want $1500 for everything, have not thought about individually. I can not tell you how much the crank will need to be ground to clean up.

I will try to remember to measure the crank today. I am getting more interest in these parts then I figured I would so I am going to start with this pricing.

$700 for the crank, may adjust based off what I find when measuring.

$450 for the rods bnib, $500 on summit.

$365 for the caps, that is what I paid last year. SOLD

Firm on pricing unless you buy two or all. Shipping will be actual unless we agree on a shipped/package deal.

Frank Shaft

The crank is not a 455 crank, but for a 400/425 1965-1967, look at the back end notch, a 455 is different. Early forged cranks sell for $150-$250.

Notice how the notch has more of a rounded corner, the crank also has the correct i.d. no.400943.

My bad, should have looked in Mondello Manual, 455 forged has notch like 425.

So the mains are down 30+ from standard and the rods are down 20+ from standard?
Mains are 3.000 standard and rods are 2.500?

Standard is 3” mains and 2.5” rods but idk if that is the inside of the bearing or the actual measurement at the crank as you do need clearance so it spins.

What do you mean you will trade the crank for a 425 crank? I have a spare 425 crank. Looking for forged rods.

Crank is still here, open to any offers. I’ll let it go cheap if you are actually going to use it and not flip it.
