Exiter Polycast rims, NOS set of 5 complete $750

Rare Exiter (or Exciter) Polycast Rims by Motor Wheel
NOS set of 5, 14x7 rims, and 4 center caps (1 shown mounted), center hole is 2.75, and the offset is 4.5.
FITS: Anything GM with 5 on 4 3/4 bolt circle, Chevrolet, Pontiac, GM A-Body Cutlass, Chevelle, Camaro, GTO,
Tempest, Grand Am, Skylark, Gran Sport, 442, Supreme, Century, Regal, Grand National. They will clear factory disc brakes.
Aftermarket version of the very similar Olds Super Stock IV offered in '71-'72 on the Delta Royale. (If you have one, these are are the perfect companion to go on your Cutlass or 442)
Every rim has a serial number. These are 3683?, 36879, 36879, 36830, 36832. Yes, there is a dupe, beats me why.
They are not absolutely perfect. There is some paint chipping on the outer edges, which shows some surface rust. These did not use a trim ring. There are a couple of nicks in the rubber one one rim (pic'd). All issues are easily fixed a scuff pad and some paint. You'll need small diameter valve stems to fit in the hole, but not long ones. There is already one in a rim, and it's too long.
Their advantage was they were cheaper to produce than a comparable styled steel or aluminum wheel.
Their disadvantage was they were still a steel wheel and heavier than aluminum or steel.

Possible trade for Rader Nickey Performance style wheels 14'x7", 5x4.5 (Ford) I have 3 beaters, I need a nice set of 4 for my '60 T' Bird.

$750.00, shipping extra.
Buyer pays actual shipping, based on 2 rims/box, each box 35' from Zip 53214. (this will probably be about $18-35.00 PER BOX, based on your location).
I quote FedEx Ground, but buyer can request other shipping options.

The above hyperlink needs an "l" at the end. Wheels look nice, and a great deal at that price I think for someone who wants a set.

Got it, finally.

I can't blame all my issues on these old arthritic fingers, but I try.

Food for thought-

Motor Wheel was a Lansing company.

They made the SSIV for the big cars.

Oldsmobiles have often had this 8-vent wheel design.

Their Exiter ads featured 69-70 Oldsmobile A-bodies prominently.

An 80s FWD Super Stock wheel center will snap into these like they were made for them.

Repro Super Stock I centercap decals fit in the 80s centers perfectly.

Almost sounds like they may have designed them on spec, hoping to sell them to Olds, or Olds backed out after they were ready.

They even made them in tin...

I'll be sure to let whoever buys them know about it.

Hopefully if someone out there needs one for their own set they will see your post and buy it.

Good luck.
