Chris, would you look at the bottom and post the casting number? Since it has the bleeders I'm guessing its GM original so there should be a number there.

looks like "US" is originally a '69 Camaro piece

what's the correct stamping for a '67 and '68 Olds a-body?

Fred are you sure for 68? I thought DW would be for 68. agree EA is 69.

yep, original GM. it's the standard disc master casting number. I used to have it memorized, but I'll double check before going off memory.

CT is actually for many years (67-72 I think). it's manual and power drums. I have it on my W-31 and my manual drum brake pontiac has it also.

We are discussing the disc brake code for 68

The code's for 1968 are, Drum whether manual or power is "CT" if it is Disc. it is "DW"
1969- Drum "CT" Disc. "EA"
1970- Drum "CT" Disc. "EB"
1971- Drum "CT" Power Disc. "BE" Manual Disc. "ST"
1972- Drum "CT" Power Disc. "BE" Manual Disc. "ST"
The "CT" code was widely used by all divisions. There is also a "DP" drum master cylinder but I am not certain of its application. The code "BE" was also used by Pontiac and Buick in 1971-72. The casting number for power disc brakes master cylinders from 1970-1972 for all GM divisions is the same. The manual disc master cylinder in 1971-72 is a tall dual bale design.
It is the only master that did not come with bleeders.
