D Side Fender - 68/9 Cutlass/442 - Great condition
EDIT: SOLD
Driver's side front fender for sale - '68/'69 Cutlass/442/Wagon:
>This was a GM collision replacement fender with the "5 hole" hood hinge bolt pattern that utilizes both 68 and 69 hood hinges (still evidence of GM PN tag on backside of fender)
>Great condition and the hard/dirty work's already been done:
>Small rust hole at bottom repaired (approx 1" x 1-1/2") - lower backside brace removed and fender backside and brace COMPLETELY cleaned to bare metal and protected with Dupont epoxy primer. Bottom of brace (where mounting bolts are) and other areas on the bottom were otherwise very clean. In any case, inside/outside areas were thoroughly cleaned and are now very well protected
>Overall fender had typical small dents and dings which have been removed
>Fender "jambs" (inside engine compartment, fender-to-door-jamb, wheel opening jamb, front bumper jamb) all beadblast stripped to bare metal and epoxy primed
>Outer skin is currently bare metal.
>Fender had the Supreme type trim holes - welded up and carefully filed/smoothed - no filler here and it wont' need any IMO...no heat warpage, etc and any decent build primer should do the job.
>Front side marker rectangular hole moved down slightly to correct position (NOS fenders don't have it cut and these are many times cut out/placed inaccurately by body shops as it was on this one).
OVERALL a very clean fender that had some typical wear and tear and a small rust spot. MANY HOURS already spent with stripping, etc so either you OR your shop save A LOT of work...and the work's been done RIGHT!
More pics available.
$350 + shipping (will ship Greyhound...send your zip AND town if you want Greyhound info).

Patton, would you be interested in swapping for a nice 70-72 console in black
with shifter, ball and neutral safety switch? No shipping, I am local, sorta.
If so, I will get some pics for you. Thanks, Adam.

Adam - Thanks for the offer but I already have one of those pretty much completely restored here (in black) that I will be selling at some point.
