You've just reminded me that I haven't signed onto V8buick in a while.


Anyway, how well do you think this carb would run if I just wiped it off, bolted it down, and took it to the track?

I have a 455 carb on my small block right now.
It runs pretty well, and took a 2nd place trophy in the last bracket it ran, but the idle loads up on it sometimes.
Your 73 carb would work well for what I'm doing.
Daily driver, but having a fast fuel feed when needed.

 

I think it would work fine......car was a very clean car....probably elderly owned and I posted pics of the car in the Junkyard Jewels section on V8Buick.
Someone sanded the car down and left it alone.....body rusted away.

I don't see anything wrong with carb and it should run with just a light cleanup. Email me direct and I can send more pics.
