One side for the 64 Starfire chambered exhaust pipe in very solid condition. The resonator in the photo probably isn’t useable. I can cut it down to leave the front manifold flare and just leave the chamber to be welded into the line to save on shipping. $100. Let me know.

 

How bad is the resonator, Pat? John Diaz (Bee-Oh-Pee on here) has been looking for 64 front resonators forever. If it's good enough to use as a pattern he'd probably be interested.

 

It’s actually decent but the tail end I’m not wild about. I’ll go get a pic after work.

 

I think it would be a good pattern for an exhaust shop that can do fabricating.

Hard as those front resonators are to find it would be great if Waldron or someone would make them.

 

Glenn and Pat, I recently acquired all the resonators for my car, but I haven't laid them out to see exactly which pieces to the puzzle are still missing, and how it's all going to connect..... Unfortunately, I'm out of town now. I will lay it all out Monday when I get back and see whether I can use this piece, then see if it's still available.

Thanks, Glenn, for remembering me... And yes, I can attest how hard these pieces are to find! The resonators are MUCH harder to find nowadays than the chambered pipes. It's amazing how many minor variations GM had on that "square oval" pattern. I bought at least 3 resonators on eBay in the last few years I thought would work -- but they really won't. I do finally have all 4 correct-number resonators, so that's somewhat of a happy ending, or close-to ending?
I'll check back in next week and see what's going on...
