Bucket Seat underlayment Kit

I recover seats for classic cars, but I also like to assist do-it-yourselfers. There are some supplies needed when redoing seats that are not in any restoration catalogs, and are a pain to track down if you are just doing 1 set of seats.

This kit contains everything ELSE that you need to restore your seats- The stuff that goes under the seat foam:

* new burlap (enough for 2 buckets)
* new Jute decking pad (enough for 2 buckets)
* cotton batting (goes ontop of the foam bolsters before the covers gets pulled on.)
* 5- 12" peices of zig-zag spring (repair broken springs)
* small bag of the clips to attach zig-zag springs.

Hey Ben, do you have the same set up for an A65 or A52 seat?

are those the split-back & armrest bench seats?

I can make the kit up to work for any seat, buckets, front benches, even back seats- they all used the same basic stuff in them.

Bench seats & back seats are a higher cost due to the extra material needed for those of course.

Send me a PM and I can put together a kit for you.

Bringing this back to top. Recently had a few people ping me about if these were still available- they are. I keep plenty of this stuff handy for redoing customers seats, and I can put together a kit anytime someone needs.

As shown above, I can make up kits for Bucket Seats, I can also do kits for Bench Seats & rear seats if you can send me the dimentions of the panels you need.

I can also make up small kits with just repair springs & clips if you can't find them locally.

Thanks-
Ben

Great idea, Ben. The jute pad is nearly impossible to source locally, unless you special order a large quantity.

Bringing back to the top.

I've got the padding kits on ebay now:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/160919686556...84.m1555.l2649

I can make up burlap & jute kits for bench seats & rear seats with or without cotton batting if desired.

And- I can also sell 1" & 2" High Density/Medium Resistance automotive grade Foam for use in Rear seats & bench seats.

PM me with your needs, or email me at ben@seat-guy.com

Great idea! Were you able to find springs the same size as originals?

Yup- it took a while to locate, but I've got a couple Rolls of the correct size zigzag spring for GM (mopar & ford use the smaller stuff), and thats whats included with the kits.
