Big block swap kit (455, T350, exhaust)

Putting the 455 Oldsmobile up for sale. Pro assembled short block.
.030 forged pistons, its balanced with ARP main studs
ARP head bolts, JM 20-22 "coated" cam.
Heads have mild porting and oversized 2.07 intakes on "C" heads.
Brand new Edelbrock intake and brand new Headman headers ready to suck in and spit out the neighbors Prius, Also beefed BOP T350 transmission with less than 5 ...miles on it. Brand new 2 1/2" stainless steel Pypes exhaust system.
package deal low low price of only $3000.00


Will consider selling items separate if and when engine sells, not before.
Will try for local sale first. I'm in Tacoma Wa.

Just curious and learning, but why did you have a T350 and not the T400 behind the engine?

Its what I had. I told the rebuilder my plan and he added HD clutches and a mild shift kit plus a looser converter. It was never run behind the 455. It actually came from a 74 Omega (now The Jerimiah's)

That's what I was thinking.... Stuff like this across the country are why I've started investigating an LS swap. How come there's never any deals like this in new england?

Excuse my ignorance but are there options? Not sure I understand.
I can ask the machine shop what the procedure was used.
I'm assuming its standard until "heavy metal" is used but that would be in cases of stroker cranks?


Sorry if I am missing something, I'm no engine building expert.

Makes a difference. The balancer and flex plate will need to be part of the engine package for external.Just saying. No disrespect intended.
