AM/FM Wonderbar Radio for Cutlass. Chrome face and buttons $75.00

This is the radio that came in my 1970 Cutlass. It was installed by the previous owner and never had speakers hooked up so I don't know if it works or not. I would assume it needs to be refurbed by a professional - hence the low price. I see these things advertised on various web sites for $450 to $500 dollars. Hard to believe. The chrome face and buttons are in excellent shape.

I also have the original AM only Cutlass radio that does work and has the mounting bracket attached. I am replaceing it with a more modern shaft mount stereo. So if anyone is interested in this one, I will sell it for $50.00 plus shipping.

Do either radio have the factory model number on them? I'm looking for a 7303173 or a 7303153

AM/FM radio with chrome face and buttons

The Wonderbar doesn't have any numbers on it anywhere and no sticker or tag. The one that I think is a factory AM only radio has a sticker on it with the following:
Service model # 23APB1
Product # 7935003 and it is made by Delco Electronics.

That is all I can find.

Sorry Bob I should of read your post closer. Didn't see that the one was a AM only. Sorry cant use that. As for the AM/FM I would have to see a picture of it. Can you post a picture? or can you tell me the diameter of the radio face. (the part that goes threw the dash) And the color of wires attached to it. It may not be the right year but it gets me closer to a period correct radio. (mines out of a late 70's GM)

I just looked at the wires. There are three wires coming out from behind the right front ****. Two are blue and the other is tan cloth. One of the blue wires is for the rear speaker and runs back to the speaker connection in the rear. Pictures will clear this up for you. The short piece of yellow wire (in the picture) is the 12 volt Power. There are other wires on top and behind. The one on top is for the dial light.

Just a somewhat educated guess - out of a '67 "B" or "C" body Olds.

According to ....

http://www.wonderbarman.com/codes.html

...23APB1 equates to a 1972 Oldsmobile(3) A-body PushButton AM - Version 1....but no mention of that part #.....maybe its a repl #...

When dealing with radios and reverbs, GM uses the model number for I.D.
