.921 Lifters for '67 400 E code motor Installed never run

I have a set of lifters I removed from a '67 400 E code motor - I purchased motor from the son of the builder (passed away). Builder was not an experienced engine guy- I decided to tear it down and start over. I'm using brand new lifters.
Not sure if this set is worth anything- I don't see any wear patterns or issues. Engine was sealed and oiled- lifters look brand new.
They are 7 years old +-
$80. best offer.
Can send pics if interested.

believe it or not - I think they're in deep dark storage. I can verify tonight. It's gonna take an hour of digging to find them - are you ok with $100 price plus shipping?

But if it wasn't ever ran, they'd still technically be new tho, right?

FYI there were some really junk .921 lifters on the market a few years ago. I'm not saying the ones the man has are those but you need to be very careful when buying anything without a brand or in the box.

The junk lifters I noted were Chinese units. The bleed hole and metering plates had the holes too big and fill the top end with oil causing smoking issues.

I have no idea when they were purchased. The engine had top notch parts with no short cuts so I don't suspect these are Chinese.....
I realize it's a gamble yet they appear new to me and seemed new when I tore the engine down.

I'm not trying to rain on your parade, trust me. The Chinese lifters @ one time was the only option and unless you measure the bleed hole and metering plates it's very hard to tell. I can't tell you the number of guys who bought them and had problems with them. Your price is very fair if they are not Chinese units. Good Luck
