I have a good 74 455 engine for whole or parts.I have removed the factory 4bbl intake & J-heads,and the everything looks pretty good inside.The cylinders are nice,and it turns over fine.No rust in or on anything inside.This is all bone-stock,never been apart until now.Original HEI distributor is good,but I would suggest servicing it before reinstalling it.The block is an "F" block,not "Fa".
I also have a set of 72 Ga heads available.
