71 OW Transmission

SOLD

Barn fresh 71 OW transmission. This was pulled in the 80s and sit in a barn since. One ear has been broken off but will not affect anything. The torque of the engine is going through the pins and not the bolt holes. With a thick washer the bolt will still hold fine. $600

May be sold but price reduced to $400 if not

Another rare part for sale on Classic Oldsmobile. I wish I had a '71 W-30 to put it in.

I have a guy first in line for it. I did find that the inside has had moisture in it. Looks like the valve body is salvagable but some of the internals will likely need replaced.

Seems like a very good price for this. You should have this sold in no time if taking to Nationals.

If it were a 70 it would be more. A 71 is a little less desirable but also more rare.

I knew this was pulled in the 80s but just found out it was pulled from a 71 Buick stage I and not a W-30. Just looked at the VIN and it was Buick. Does anyone know if there is a Buick Stage I registry? I want to see if this car is still alive.

The following site might help with finding a registry: http://www.BuickPerformanceClub.com

George Nenadovich is the president of the club and his email address is: gnenad@ix.netcom.com

The Sherman made replacement fender brace for Buick fenders was found on this website. It is sold separately from the Buick lower fender patch panel and it might be usable with Oldsmobile fenders and patch panels.

Yes, there is a Stage I Registry:

http://www.stage1registry.com/

Contact Marco, he may know if that Buick exists.
