I parted a 71 4 door and some one got to this before i did, they took the dash piece and left this...its a nice cakble, but its missing one of the barbs that locks it into the white tube..this is the cable that goes under the dash..I used the white tube on my car, but this snapped in and stayed, and it always under pressure..so it stays put... its been broke probably for years, when i took it apart the barb was gone and it was covered in dust..i bet it was broke early in its life......its not perfect but it is decent..includes the cowl plug..and it slides easily in the sheath..could use a little lube...this was my back up cable..now they are reproduced, and heres a cheap cable for someone that needs it and doesnt want to spend a ton of money...it was pretty rare..and its a GM piece..it just isnt perfect..
