W-31 JO code turbo 350 trans. and includes the "special W-31 converter that has higher then stock stall" (Engineering spec. 2,600 to 2,900 rpm stall. These were actually reject converters). This trans. came from my 70' F-85 W-31 "Brass Hat" that I bought. It has 114,000 miles. Fluid/filter changed every 20,000 miles. At 110,000 I had the trans. disassembled and inspected by a GM trans. tech. No adverse wear was found and all parts, IE clutch packs, band, frt. pump etc. were with in factory wear limits, so the trans. was re-assembled with only a GM seal kit installed. Been in climate controlled storage since June, 1978. Converter was flushed when trans. was checked at 110,000 mile, but will need a new seal kit installed. Have documentation that this a real deal JO trans.
