70-72 NOS Parts (load two)
everything NOS. send me a PM with your email address and i can send you high resolution pictures. on some of the parts or a large total $ of several parts i may request a Postal money order. these are all NOS and most never opened in there original boxes. the 71-2 cut out bumper was partly opened from the paper getting tore up so i opened it to check it out. it is VERY NICE. the chrome is beautiful and i will have a premium on it, i found the receipt for it in the paper and it was bought in 1985. the 70 front bumper is unopened so i will have to inspect it and get pictures before i ship it. the dash bead moldings will be inspected next to a dash to check for shrinkage. shipping extra.
thanks,
Eric

Hi Eric by 1985 the NOS rear bumpers were pretty wavy and had some flaws. I have one that I stashed away at that time and my dealer friend ordered 5 or 6 to get one really nice one. Yours may be an exception but the mold and workmanship was pretty bad by then. I used a NOS bumper on my 1970 but had to rework it to make it fit and nice enough for the car. Lee

i took lots of pictures and packaged it up. i can't see anything in the pictures but chrome parts are hard to photograph. i will open it back up and take it out in the sunlight and look it over again. i sure didn't see any problems with it in the basement lighting. i will post some close up pictures when i get some pictures of it outside.

GM was not making show cars in the 70's,they were building cars to be used everyday. That bumper is a typical production part, and very nice. They didn't have 10 mexicans smoothing & polishing the metal before plating. They simply stamped it out,and plated it.I have both mint original, and NOS bumpers, and they are all great,BUT they are not in the same category as a triple-plated show-chrome bumper.A GM bumper will have marks & impressions in it,and the chrome is not the same look, but I would still rather start with one of those.I put an NOS cutout bumper on the back of my Supreme.I paid about the same.Someday,I will have it replated, when I feel I need that extra look from it.
