70 442 Delco 1100880 37 amp alternator, near mint original

This alternator has been in dry storage in the box shown since the 1970's and is in amazing 'survivor' condition. It has never been rebuilt or had the case bead blasted either, making it an incredibly rare find. I recently had it tested by an alternator & starter rebuild shop and it works perfectly, bolt on & go condition. The original Delco rectifier bridge was swapped out for a new one at some point, the original is included with the sale. Why it was swapped I do not know, because I had it tested and it is also in working condition. This is probably the best original 70 442 alternator you will ever find, truly in excellent condition and guaranteed to be an original, NOT a re-stamp!!! It has all the correct details and dates that align with it being an unmoelsted original, has original fan & pulley as well. The only flaw is a chip in the red plastic insulator at the battery power wire attachment stud, I have a new one that I will include with it. This is correct for 70 442 & W30 without a/c. $850 shipped within the 48 states. I will pack it with extreme care (double boxed) for safe shipment through FedEx ground. The box it was in for all those years will be included too.

I still have this alternator, price drop to $750 shipped in the 48 states. I will accept paypal if it can be done as 'family/friend' fund transfer so there are no fees.

That is a good price for this alternator. I had an NOS 55 amp version on ebay and it went over $1000. Yours looks just as good as the one I had.

I would have to agree. I remember your NOS 55 amp version on ebay a while back, an amazing find. Since this one is a good price, who's buying it??? lol

Sold quite a while back. Wish I still had it, that was cheap for the condition it was in!
