68-72 Steering Intermediate Shaft
I rebuild the column coupler with a new rubber seal and click using the attached procedure. This came off a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme with small block (350). It's been repainted and ready to go. I'm not using it because I bought a Lee's 670 quick ratio steering box and am using an new column as well.

Yes, it will fit a '68. I can't speak to restoration points perfect application, however.
If you hunt enough, the parts are available a few specialty supply houses. I was actually able to find some of the bits at Year One of all places! The parts and process are not terribly complicated.
For a fully restored, reconditioned and ready to go item, I think this is a deal.
(note that I am not the seller! Try sending a PM to make sure he knows you're interested)

I bought the parts from Ground-Up ss396.com (chevelle parts) place.
DSB-83 1964-1977 Chevelle Steering Shaft Boot
DBR-647 1964-1977 Chevelle Steering Shaft Boot Retainer
I still have it available and would sell it for $100 + shipping.
