67 Cutlass 330 engine and trans - Denton TX

Hey all,

I have a running Olds 330 motor and trans out of my 67 Cutlass. I am restoring the vehicle and will be going a different route with the motor. No idea what a good price is for this since, its a 330. It was changed from points to an electronic distributor which comes with the motor. I also have the original points distributor that I'll throw in. Motor runs and transmission was fine.

Starting at $400 obo. - Located in Denton, TX
Thanks,
Josh

Got some info on the motor from a previous owner. It would be a good candidate for a rebuild. Was told the governor is out on the transmission, causing a large clunk on the downshift.

So - How about $250 obo?

Just an FYI on the transmission. The clunk is due to either the modulator being bad, vacuum leak, or it was connected to ported vacuum. When I first got my car had the same problem.

Yeah I meant modulator my bad. Been awhile since I had that car. I never fixed it because I got a 200R to replace the ST300. Never got around to putting it in. Should I call it a power glide it seems everyone else does?

It is not a powerglide. Powerglides are only in Chevys.
