'64/65? - '72+ Non AC Alt Bracket Setup - Restored and Complete
Here is a super nice original Oldsmobile Non-AC alternator bracket setup I recently "restored":
>Very nice core pieces - not crusty/rusty, not pitted, etc
>All pieces media blasted to clean bare metal and refinished
-Main upper bracket - black satin-ish catalzyed epoxy. Nice sheen and none of the original stamping/tooling marks were lost due to rust, excessive paint, etc....nice and visible factory stamping "defects" remain
-Tube bracket - nice and smooth, no pitting and also refinished w/the same satin black catalyzed epoxy
-Lower Cast Iron bracket - like the other pieces this started out super clean. Media blasted to bare clean metal, epoxy primed and then painted a nice cast iron grey w/a high grade catalyzed urethane custom mix paint. This part was typically mounted on the motors bare prior to engine paint and accordingly, got some engine paint coverage. My cast iron finish leaves you with the option of how much engine paint you want on this bracket and any non-engine-painted surfaces will maintain a original cast iron finish forever.
>Fasteners - New correct-head-marking and correctly-plated bolts and nut included. The long "TR"-headmark bolt that holds the bottom of the alternator case will be a replated original.
>All of the above leaves you with a bolt-on-ready assembly w/all the correct finishes....no searching for correct fasteners, no painting, etc needed. Concours/show ready and beautiful.
$200 + shipping. Shipping will be very reasonable - I use PirateShip for shipping so no ridiculous "retail" shipping cost.
Can provide more pics. Payment via check, money order or PayPal Friends and Family.
Can also sell a correct/original/factory UPPER alternator bolt/lock washer/flat washer setup w/this alternator bracket assembly - correct cad plating and a ever-so-slightly thicker new flat washer to replace the usually distorted original flat washer. Three pieces - add $25.
