Edzolz - no, these didn't come from Henry's.....found them at another place here in Austin a few years back.
Pulled from a clean '67 Cutlass......two steering column mounting plates.....
>One that holds the column to the dash metal - super clean
>Other one holds steering column outer tube to the firewall....again, super clean and this one has been beadblasted clean and sprayed with catalyzed satin black epoxy finish. Leave "as is" or easily scuff, clean and spray a "bare steel" color for a more original look. NO pitting, etc.
>Mounting screws for the firewall plate are very clean and have been stripped and professionally replated in a dark phosphate. NOTE: The fasteners appear VERY dark right now as they still have the oil on them from the plater. They'll be slightly lighter in color if that is cleaned off w/solvents.
