Yes i am in Miami,
I ship thru a discount shipper called forward air.1-800-472-1556 then get the number for miami and chicago.

 

I don't have any experience with these old engines. Something caught my eye in this picture:



There appears to be 2 oil filters mounted horzontally at right angles to each other. Is my interpretation right? If yes, why would there be a need for 2 filters? This has my curiosity going.

BTW, this motor looks incredible for its age!!

 

As this was the first real NASCAR motor that richard
petty drove on daytona beach at 133 mph in the sand. They being the olds racing team put in space for one more quart of oil. Upgraded screw on oil filter.
We stripped the motor down removed carbs ,starter,fuel pump,headers, distributors,harmonic balancer, and srtipped all the old paint off every piece.
We ordered the autual 500 degree olds color for the j-2 golden rocket painted the main parts gold and the other parts high temp black.The exhaust headers were treated with calax and baked in the oven to hold the finish and inhibit rust then will be installed with copper gaskets.The mechanical dist is being recurved by using 800 to 5000 advance springs.The new plugs were gaped 40 thous to accepet the 40,000 volt coil. Get better responce and better gas mileage.The carbs have been changed to progressive linkage so the three twos do not kick on to full throttle by vacuum. They come on fast or slow depending upon the pedal application.

Allen the lower part in black that looks like an oil filter is a extra quart option on the J-2 engine oil pan and is part of the pan.
