I'm looking to sell my Oldsmobile Rocket motor-block stamped V1015992, casting 567405, heads #10. Without disassembling it the most I can figure is that its a 56 324. The previous owner had it refreshed but passed away before he was able to install it. I picked it up at auction in 2019 and its been sitting in my garage ever since. It needs to go to a good home. Reason: correcting false information 1956 instead of a 1954
The head and block casting numbers come back as 1956.
The distributor is a 1956 (window in cap)
The flywheel flexplate is for the dual coupling trans , first offered in '56.
