350 and TH350 For Sale

Oldsmobile 350 Engine - Air Cleaner to Oil Pan and TH350 with Converter

The build on my 455 is finished and am considering selling my SBO 350 complete from air cleaner to pan including headers, ignition, starter, all pulleys, belts, etc….essentially a drop in and go solution. It does not include a fuel pump as I am running electric. I prefer to sell complete versus parting out as it is just easier for me. At this point I am not sure what the engine is worth so looking for some input from the Oldsmobile community. I was thinking somewhere around $3,000 (of course there is a lot more invested). The engine has about 4,000 miles on it. The build was done in 2008, but upgraded the heads and cam in 2011.

Details for all information I can recall. I am sure I am missing some things:

Block - 350, .030 without torque plates, line honed, surfaced (not zero decked). All new oil galley plugs installed in the correct locations. All machine work including external balancing of complete rotating assembly performed by D&L Performance Machine in Wichita Falls, TX.

Crankshaft – Automatic nodular crankshaft, .020 both mains and rods. Prepped by same machine shop, nothing exotic. Crank was purchased from eBay seller

Balancer Bolt - APR, PN 180-2501, purchased from Summit Racing.

As previously mentioned, the engine has about 4,000 miles on it and is solid, oil pressure hot is ~ 45 PSI. I recently changed gauges from a Sun-pro electric gauge to an Autometer electric gauge and somehow went from 55 psi hot to 45 psi. Not sure which one is right. With the 160 degree thermostat, original shroud and flex-a-lite fan, the engine has never overheated and has never offered to. I don’t recall ever seeing it go above 190 degrees.

I have no performance data for the engine as it was never dynoed. Engine runs great, but probably needs a little more timing adjustment (possibly different plugs too). I just have not had the time.. I only run 93 octane and always put stabil in with each tank fill. You can hear the engine run as its in my car and we can test drive it for about the next week or so before I remove it. I have a short video, but could not upload it for some reason. I can send separately to any interested parties.

I also have a rebuilt TH350 with several performance mods. It comes with a Coan 2800 RPM converter. It has the same amount of miles as the engine. This would be a separate purchase price and we can do a deal for the engine and transmission.

I don't have the time or desire to ship so will need to be picked up at my home.

I live in Grant Valkaria, FL, which is close to Melbourne. PM me or email at rkkirsch911@gmail.com if you have any questions.
