Does the A head have a code stamped into the front of one end? If so, please post that code. If the C heads are 1967's one of them will have the code too, 68-69 wouldn't. If either of those have a code beginning with the letter V then they were from a 442 and should have more demand.

Here's the location of the number I was talking about. This is a stamped code vs. a cast code and was used on the 1964-67 engines for application. You may not have this on any of your heads, but if you do and it's a V then that would be worth mentioning. John

C heads are 394548 instead of 394648 with casting dates of 122 and 123

The '68-9 non-Toro big blocks all use the same intake (except the '69 H/O). It is true to advertise the J-398662 intake as "W30" because that is what they used- much the same as it is true to advertise the '68-9 SB iron intake as "W31" intake... because that is what the '69 W31 used... before the AL intakes were offered.

However, if you read carefully, it was not set forth as being correct "only" for W30 applications, like say the later AL BB intakes. It is "also" for these W30's. A subtle but not negligible difference.

Oh, and bump for the OP, who should probably clarify what if any _stamping_ is stamped into [not cast into] the flat pad on the end of the C heads... whether it's a Vxxxx, or other, or none, inquiring minds need to know.

and I need another J 398662 "W30" intake to convert to '69 H/O type J-405233

Understood. However, per forum guidelines, you should at the very least post a rough estimate of price.
If you would like to sell items to highest bidders, there are auction sites for such.

Not trying to belittle your good parts here, and I hope you can help out a fellow member. I do not wish to hear complaints about how buyer A offered x amount, and then a week later buyer B offered more, so you dismissed buyer A.

We have had problems with this in the past. Good luck.
