(2) 1969 350 Rockets
I have 2 complete (carb to oil pan)1969 Olds 350 Rockets (high nickel)
Both of these motors were pulled with under 100K and in good running condition. Both are stamped "M" produced in Lansing Mich?
I have had these motors stored inside for over 10 yrs.
Both rotate freely and to my knowledge are all original (never rebuilt)
Both motors are equipped with the hard to find #5 heads
In addition I have an Edelbrock Performer 350 Olds Alum. Intake (#3711)
Brand new Chrome Olds. Valve covers and oil tube
Original 2 and 4 barrel carbs
Original 4 and 2 barrel intakes, misc. starters, hei and non hei distributors,
alternators, brackets, and old style power steering pump.
I have seen a motor on Ebay with same numbers and heads with two barrel goin for $1200 needing rebuilt.
I would like to sell both motors with all accessories
Asking price $2000 or best offer
I also have a 69 400 auto trans with the older style long tail shaft and converter (under 100K also working when pulled)
Delivery will have to be discussed
Motors are located in Lincoln, NE
I would be willing to deliver or meet part way
Let me know
Thanks

I have never seen an olds 350 needing to be rebuilt that actually sold for $1200. He may have been asking $1200, but I don't believe he got it from an actual bidder.
What you have are core engines that need to be completely gone through before being dropped into a car. To me (and probably 99.9% of the people out there) they are not worth more than $200-$300 depending on over all condition. Especially now when the economy is down.
I'm not busting your chops, just giving it to you straight.
And the #5 heads are actually less rare that the #6 heads because the #5 heads were used for 2 years (68 - 69) where the #6 were only used in 70.
The 350 heads, unless they can be proven without a shadow of a doubt to be W31 heads, just don't command all that much money. And the blocks aren't any higher in nickel content than any other 350 with that casting number.

X2 When i sell older Olds engines 330s and 350s. Ill clean them, put in new gaskets, paint, and tune them up and then i still only ask around $500-600. Thats for an Old engine thats clean, tuned up, and runs.
