thanks! yes, rain! at 8am yesterday morning before the show, all of South Florida was put under a flood watch until today at 2pm - we were lucky though, the sky stayed black as far as the eye could see in every direction, but we stayed pretty dry until well after noon.

By 3 the sky opened up and I was home and dry by 4, snoozing comfortably by 5

it was a fun time, looks like we are actually a club!

forgot to mention - all Oldsmobiles got trophies, and the 69 Hurst got best of show - he's a great guy too

funny story - I am lazy, no one lazier - a few years ago I was asked to lead the huge Toys for Tots Harley parade - I said to the guy "really? my Oldsmobile? ok"

Got to the staging area and there were all these Chargers, Challengers, GTOs, Malibu SS, etc.

LOTS of Mopar musclecars, convertibles, etc. Big $$$ all waiting in line for the parade to start.

And it started to pour. These guys were all scrambling to get their boots off and tops up before the whole interior got soaked.

I just flicked the switch to UP and laughed. My boots are in the garage where they belong.
