This is a 1972 455 Quadrajet number 7042251 with a julian date code of 1252 (early May 1972). I bought this as a remanfactured/rebuilt unit in 2005 from a "major player" on ROP (I forget who it was, but he had a ton of these for sale at the time). It ran great on my '72 442 and I removed it two weeks ago - it's fine, but I had the original QJet rebuilt and restored. It has maybe 4000-5000 miles on it on my car and is ready to bolt on and go.
