1971 Olds 455 and trans. for sale!!

I have this 455 engine and trans combo out of a 1971 Ninety-eight. The motor would not turn over with a fresh battery. Don't know when it was run last. I am asking $500 or best offer. I am located in Pennsylvania between Harrisburg and York.

I usually belive in the dollar per cubic inch rule, however in this situation I would sell the motor for $400.

I just think the motor is tight from not being run for many years. I would suspect some lubrication would free it up. I believe the missing bracket only held the a/c compressor.

Thanks

I am sorry to say that the engine and trans are sold. I would like to thank everyone for their interest and help in selling this combo. I will be checking in on this board from time to time and may even buy a '78 Cutlass from someone.
