We did do the bench test and the units are for sale. I sold my Pontiac. New belts are available as are both the carpet and consol mounts. One unit will come with the GM tape to player cable. The cable is available as a repo as well.

I just wanted to see what a 1972 cassette player looked like. Didn't know they made one. DUH.

Just trying to let Olds owners in on a well kept secret. If someone wants pictures they can email at that address . I belong to CAMARO, Pontiac and Corvair pages. They all are easy to put pictures on in seconds. I 'do not see that function on this page. One of your members did put up pics and you will find it with a SEARCH. Price is now $800.00 SAME AS HIS 3 YEARS AGO.

Best I can tell, Oldsmobile did offer cassette players until 1978 or 1979.....

 

Some how this got separated from the main thread.

The subject matter is the DELCO CASSETTE PLAYER Olds offered in 71 and 72 that most owners are not aware of. It was not dash mounted.
