I have an extra 1971-72 dual snorkel air cleaner used on 1971 442s without OAI (auto and 4 speed) and 1972 455/M20 cars (code NH in 1972). This one was in dry storage for years - has no pitting but needs to be restored. Has one small ding in the snorkel as shown in the close up but is a clean, straight piece overall. I've gone through several mediocre ones in the same price range since 2002 for my former V codes before getting this one from a well known Lansing collector, as well as the one that is now on my current V Code. $375 + $40 shipping in the lower 48. I expect shipping will cost more than that, and I will cover any extra cost. Thanks for looking.
Restored unit in the front, the one for sale is on the engine.
Need this out of my life and off my shelves even at a moderate $ loss. No pits, rot or thin spots. Here are some new pics taken after some quickie Evaporust treatment in spots just to show that the metal is nice. $340 shipped in the lower U.S. 48. (Will be $60 or so to ship - it's big). Will consider nice black rubber OEM mats as partial trade. Thanks for looking.
Hi Brian - Thanks for the offer and I might do that. I'm into it for $375, so I need to wrap my brain around taking that much of a hit, but I may do it. Stay tuned. Thanks again.
