Short block complete runs, bored .030 cast pistons, does not smoke, no noise. Just removed from car 1 month ago, had a 70 455 rebuilt. Motor had low oil pressure at idle, so it will need a oil pump, that is why I took it out. Other than that it ran great $600.

 

Hello. Do you know if the engine has a factory drilled crank for the manual trans, or if it was drilled afterwards? Are the current pistons equivalent to the factory '71 low compression pistons? What heads were on the engine? Thanks, Anthony

 

It is a factory drilled crank. Pistons are same dish as a stock 1971. I bought motor w/ C heads, I put my B heads on it and drove it.

Any chance this is a nodular or better yet a forged crank? I assume stock rods. Has the crank been ground do you know? Thanks
