Hey Brian,
Some added information for you on these moldings. Yes they will fit 1971/72 (all models actually) but there is a slight difference between model years. Check the raised surface on the moldings. If the raised line is in the middle of the molding - it's 1971 specifically. If it's around the outside edge it's 1972 specifically. For anyone who just wants some nice moldings though and doesn't matter about details, these look really nice.
I just can't see them clearly in the picture.
GLWS sir.

Alan,
What you are describing are the outer trim moldings (3/4 attaches around grill and 1/4 along the top attaches to the hood). You are correct that those are year specific, will fit all models and grills for the specific year, and that if you swap them from one year to another it will not be noticeable to most. The trim in the add is 442 grill specific and would be used for 71 and 72 as it is the single piece that sits deep inside the grill by the mesh.

Brian, sorry for the confusion - if you want I'll delete my post. Meantime here's a free bump.

HI ALLAN
Thank YOU
No worries. YOU did make me wonder what you were referring too and was going to look at them again later today
I could not find these available as a reproduction part. Do they sell them separate from the grilles?? I do not know.if they do??
Cheers
brian
