Would you happen to have a set of black floor mats? I'm looking for a set for my 72 vert. They don't have to be really nice just something decent to keep my carpet nice. Thanx

I pulled the motor from a 1970 F-85 and I posted the information I found on the motor.
The numbers on the block next to the distributor are a 2 283. Another member here helped me find these numbers so I could better identify the engine. And I really appreciated his help, as I am still learning about these wonderful cars of ours.
I wonder if the first 1970 models would get a late model 69 motor. Since the factory tends to use what it has on hand first during the building process. Does the date code on the block support that theory? Or, maybe the heads were swapped out at sometime over the past forty years. Or maybe the entire motor was swapped out. Who knows?
So which is it? I don't know. But I do sincerely appreciate the help and advise I get here from other members who are more knowledgable than I.
