1970 Oldsmobile W-30 w30 455 F Heads
These heads are original excellent condition (Unported) 1970 W-30 "F" heads.
The date code is 106 on both heads

Can you please add a clear pic of the casting number that is just above the center exhaust ports?. I just cant quite make it out from the above pic.

Did you buy these heads from Long Island? I ask because they were advertised recently and I got in contact with the party selling them and came to find out they were my heads back in the 80's. Also just to ad some info they do have mild work done in the bowls and turns in case anyone wanted to know more info.

I also contacted this individual and I also believe its a scam. All they wanted to respond to was texts or Emails,when I told them that I wasnt going to do a large transaction with only texts they finally called.I couldnt understand half of what they said. I told them I would not pay 2500 and offered 1800 they jumped on it and wanted info to complete the transaction. I said before we go any farther I wanted someone I knew from the area to inspect them that was the last I heard.As soon as I got them on the phone I knew it was a scam.

I became suspicious when talking about this item with another CO member. He looked into it and saw the same guy selling a 1970 W31 that belongs to his friend. The address given for his avatar is in North Carolina but he wanted the money wired to an account for a lady in Mendota Virginia. My friend called the bank and they confirmed her account has been compromised. Also 66trakpak's question was not answered so I sent a PM and his response was vague and elusive. He never gave me his name along with a multitude of other red flags.

It is definitely a scam. I have been in recent contact with the real owner of the heads and he still has them for sale for 3800.00.

Probably the first sign is someone coming on here, not even introducing themselves, and posting items for sale that are rare and in demand.
There should be a post count minimum before being able to sell. That way potential buyers could get a feel for who these people are.
