1970 455 Motor - Rebuilt

1970 Oldsmobile 455 motor. This is a rebuilt motor that was purchased from an estate. Still needs to be primed and can break in. Crank can be used for manual transmission. “F” heads with W30 intake. Can provide more photos. Local purchase only, located in 07013.
$4500 OBO. Cross posted.

Wow! You might add F heads, W30 intake to the title to get more attention. Is the distributor by chance correct numbers for a W30? John

Thanks! Updated the post. Font on intake is narrow; likely repro. I’ll have to check on the distributor. I don’t think it is correct for W30. No carb. VIN derivative is 30E1xxxxx. So not a Lansing build.

You really should get the machine shop and parts sheets to prove what was done and that its not a repainted "core".

Agreed. From a view under the intake and valve covers, the rockers, pushrods, lifters, cam, valves all look new. From the plugs, the pistons are all new and are marked STD. So the motor was likely just honed. I’ll have to take the oil pan off for further inspection, if there is an interested buyer. Have a few messages asking to see in person.

Not your everyday "estate sale" one would think. That #3 on the block denotes a 70 block for sure.
