I am assembling a 3:91 posi rear end , it is the 1968 31 spline TO code set up . It has been sandblasted - primed - painted . new axle bearings - seals , new pinion bearings - new carrier bearings - new crush sleeve and pinion seal . The posi has been rebuilt with oem steel clutches , new gear lube and posi additive , new vent tube - new upper control; arm bushings , it will be backing plate to backing plate . It will have the big cone style brake drums . Do not want to ship , pick up at my location in Hebron Illinois zip 60034 .Price is $1400 . Here are some pictures of the housing and axles -posi unit . Housing has no pitting and all parts are in very good condition .

 

I have a 68 Cutlass Convertible it does not have posi , I suppose it does not have a posi unit. I am sure it has a twelve bolt do you have a posi unit I can install without replacing the whole rearend

You need to know what gear ratio you have to determine what posi unit you need . Some of the Cutlasses had Chevy 12 bolts in them , you need to find out if it is the o-axle or Chevy style . BOB
