I had someone harassing me on FB that they can’t be shipped in 2” PVC. I’ve done it three times with no damage. I use 22.5 or 45 degree fitting about 12” from the rearward end however I’d be happy to ship them however you’d like. These are rare and expensive pieces. I’m not interested in them being damaged any more than you are.

I just received a 68-69 simulated vinyl (metal) trunk trim strip that way from a fellow OC member.
The part was vacuum-sealed in its own box with packing paper around that. Then the box was inserted into the PVC. Next was wood plugs screwed into the ends. Best dam packing job I've seen.
Whatever the USPS gives you an estimate for shipping add $20-30 because they were off on mine.
If I had a spare 5 Id pick them up and save you the trouble.
Only others in recent years was 1500 pr & not at all detailed as impressively
Seems fair nuff unfortunatly i believe my nemisis mr deep pockets will hav upper hand this time
