I have a 1968 - 455 block for sale .It is std bore with the main caps .One cylinder has some rust but no heavy pitting - will clean up at 0.030 . You also get the stock rods - pistons , pistons are junk . Rods never had a spun bearing - still had the std factory Olds rod bearings in them . Mains in the block were also factory bearings - they also had no spun bearings . Also have a pair of C heads off this engine - big valve C heads . Theses are being sold as cores . Asking $250 for the block and rods , $150 for the pair of C-heads .I also have the factory cast iron 4 bl intake off this engine , $ 50 . Picked up at my location , zip 60034 , Hebron Illinois .

 

Block is stamped 38M286075 , Date code of 47 , bellhousing area is 68F-2 .

No , they have the factory valve train in them . They are the big valve heads . BOB

Heads are sold . I still have a set of 455 rods that have the old cast pistons on them but have not had any spun bearings . They will clean up very nicely . Asking $ 50 plus shipping .
