Pics below indicate condition; note flat spot on the (white) plastic wheel that sits right under the gas pedal (worn over the years?, I can say that it did not adversely affect its operation).

Also, the return spring is missing...not a big deal, on another car I had I used a generic one bought at Pep Boys (they or hardwaire stores sell a variety of sizes).

Damn, I just got one of these and rebuilt it inside and out. Mine had that same flat spot so I went down to the local hardware store and bought a replacement wheel for kitchen drawers. Works like a charm. So much better then that stupid cable assembly that was on it.
