1966 Cutlass Convertible Quarter Panels

Up for sale are the left and right quarter panels for a 1966 Cutlass convertible. They are complete including the wheel tubs and trunk extension. Overall they are in pretty good condition. The wheel tubs are solid. There is some rust along the bottom, that should be able to be replaced. I have removed the trunk pan, but did not cut the wheel tubs or any part of the quarter. So, the quarter will be complete from the rocker panels to the tail panel. I have a plasma cutter and can cut where ever you like. Please send me an email address, if you would like pictures.

66 quarterpanels

Thanks for your interest. I will post some pictures later today. I am sure the quarters will have to go freight. I just sent a hood by freight recently. I built a 2x8 frame and then used 1/2" plywood. I charged the buyer $50 to crate the hood. At first he questioned it, but when the hood arrived, he realized that I was just protecting his hood. There was around $30 worth of materials. By the time I went to town and got wood, I ended up spending most a morning crating. The quarters are definitely going to take more wood and time to crate. I would like to crate these quarter panels so they are not damaged in shipping. Hopefully everyone will understand. A body man will cost way more than me crating them and I am sure no one wants dents and body filler.

When I remove the quarter panels, I would like to try and save the filler panel between the trunk lid and the back window for this 55 cutlass convertible. Has anyone removed this panel successfully? Any information would be appreciated

it is seemed on the botom . it is spot welded on the flange you can drill out the welds and then use a chisel to spilit the flange It is also welded where the well trim goes. It is very difficult to save both the 1/4s and the filler piece. I would see which is in better shape and more desirable and sacrafice the one that is worse. I just cut one out of apost car and that was what i did my 1/4s were not good and the filler was real nice so i saved it . any way it is possible to save both , but it is tough . good luck.
