1965 400 cid B block and 1967 425 block

1965 400 cid B block and 1967 425 block

The 1965 B block has been acid dipped and inspected , is standard bore but will need to be bored 0.030 over , $ 350 , The 1967 425 block is already 0.030 over but is very clean , this is the .842 lifter 39 degree cam angle block , $ 250 . Picked up at my location in Hebron Illinois , zip 60034 .

I'm looking for the date code.

These are bare blocks with the main caps , no spun bearings , caps and block are good . I will get the casting date this morning when i get out to the shop . Bob

I am going to the Cordova race weather permitting and can bring the Vista Cruiser axles and the 1965 - 400 block and the 1967 - 425 block if any body wants , i also have a 400-425 crank that is std that should cleanup at 0.010 for a automatic application . Bob

A "short block" refers to an assembled block, with crank, rods & pistons; a "long block" is basically a short block with heads attached. A block "with no internals" is called an "empty block". Just an FYI.

I also have a ATI flex plate for the 425 crank , it is for a internal balance , it is used but in perfect condition , $ 100 .
