What paint should I use to clean these up?

Hi folks,
Want to clean up my tail lights more importantly the 2 new ones recently aquired from a forum member. What grey or silver paint is this? Also any good tips to clean and prep these outside of the norm of good taping off?

Krypton dull aluminium paint it a perfect match for the silver on the tail lights, the grills and the headlight surrounds.

I had purchased several cans of paint from matte silver to argent wheel paint. He is right this is the best option. clean them well first and when all done wash them with a white vinegar solution prior to painting.

I bought a paint pen from Inline Tube/Motor City Super Cars. No masking. I sprayed brake cleaner on a rag and wipe on the area that needs to be painted.

Great info here. That krylon dull aluminum is the same as what's used on the 71 and 72 grilles right? Thanks guys!

If the grills were Argent silver then yes, GM used Argent silver on a lot of different trim parts, and wheels. Krylon Dull Aluminum is a pretty much dead on match.
