Because my car is my everyday driver and goes on the freeway, streets through town, etc. it collects chips up front and a few other places. Seems like the basecoat/clear is not the toughest paint, and was wondering what paint would still look good (using the same color I currently have) yet be more resistant to rocks on the freeway, door scratches, etc. SIngle stage urethan used to be the hardest paint as I recall, but am not familiar with what new technology is out there today.

 

google emron paint semi trucks have used it for years . Not your every day
hvlp jockey can throw it on from what I have heard but it is tuff and take's
little care to keep it looking nice .

imron 5000 Is duponts single stage paint. It is hard as a rock when dry. Is a bit tricky to spray but sands and buffs well
