Radiator Frame color

I'm restoring a 72 Cutlass and want to paint the frame under the hood that has the hood latch that the front grill attaches to and also is the frame holding the radiator. I'm assuming it is black, not sure if flat or glossy? Anyone know the original colors...
Thanks

Richey

I used GM chassis black on my '68. It's not flat but it's not real glossy, either - pretty much in the middle between the two extremes.

Randy and I just communicated about this a couple of weeks ago. I used a Krylon Satin Black, which also is in between flat and gloss.
