hi can some 1 please tell me the original color of a 70 convertable top frame, is it just gloss black?? and can some 1 please tell me where i can get the plastic clips that hold the door lock shaft 2 the inside of the door and the plastic clips that hold the door handle shaft 2 the door too, these are the plastic parts that are under the door panel that keep the medal shaft connected 2 the door, thanks again every1

 

My 72's top frame is semi-gloss black, more towards glossy though.
I saw those plastic clips in the OPGI sale catalog I got last week. They are running free shipping for the month of May, so if you need other stuff, now's the time to buy!

 

I think the frame color depends on your interior color. I have seen the Gold cars painted Gold but cars with Black, White or Pearl interior the frame is black. But I don't know the rule, I'd be curious about Green and Blue cars because their interior items were typically painted blue or green as well.
